The picturesque village of Vaccheria , in the municipality of Caserta , is preparing to welcome the 26th edition of the famous ” Living Nativity Scene of the 18th Century Naples “, an event that combines tradition, art and spirituality. This event, among the most evocative of the Christmas period, allows visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of eighteenth-century Naples, among period costumes, biblical scenes and settings cared for down to the smallest details .
Event Dates and Times
The nativity scene will be open to the public in two distinct periods :
- December 28th and 29th 2024
- January 4, 5 and 6, 2025
Performances will take place every day from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm , creating a magical atmosphere as evening falls.
A Journey Through Time: Route and Atmosphere
The nativity scene route winds for about a kilometer through the historic streets of the village and a suggestive forest. Along the way, visitors will be able to admire scenes of daily life from eighteenth-century Naples, reproduced with great care and fidelity. The figures, dressed in handcrafted costumes made with precious fabrics from San Leucio, give life to a visual story rich in history and tradition .
Ticket Information
The entrance to the event is accessible to all at a cost of 4 euros , a contribution that supports the organization of the event. Children under 6 years old can enter for free . Tickets will be available directly on site on the days of the performance.
Additional Services for Visitors
To make the experience easier, free parking will be available at the roundabout on Via Tenga, in Briano ( Via Caprioli, 1 ). In addition, a free shuttle service is planned, organized in collaboration with Air Campania, to facilitate access to the village.
