The 2025 Paternopoli Carnival is ready to amaze with three days of pure celebration , overwhelming music and guaranteed fun . Sunday 2 , Shrove Tuesday 4 and Sunday 9 March , the streets of Paternopoli (AV) will come alive with spectacular parades of allegorical floats, engaging DJ sets and food stands full of typical Irpinia delicacies.
This year, the event will have as exceptional godmothers the charming Fabrizia Santarelli and Ainett Stephens , ready to involve the public in this extraordinary celebration. An unmissable occasion that promises to enchant young and old with a unique and unrepeatable atmosphere .
A historical event that surprises every year
The origins of the Carnival of Paternopoli date back to the late 1940s , when Alfonso Basile organized the first edition entitled “The discovery of America”, with an allegorical ship to represent the journey of emigrants. Since then, the event has grown to become a symbol of the Irpinia tradition , combining folklore and innovation to give citizens and visitors an unforgettable experience.
